Field Trip: Amazing model of the globe.

On and Around Base

Weekend Trips



Kamakura: Most of the Japan Crew for 2010 in front of Buddha.
In Disneyland: He wanted to take me with him. 
Tokyo: Disneyland!!

Nikko: Outside the train station.
Nikko: Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, See No Evil

Nikko: Beautiful River and bridge in the middle of the town. 

Tokyo: Riding the subway (a less busy time).

Yokohama: Baystars baseball game!
Mt. Fuji: Sunrise at the start of our hike. Still in the tree line. 

Mt. Fuji: Looking down the path (mountainside). Hiking for over an hour now. 

Mt. Fuji: The clouds move up the side of the mountain.  About two hours into the hike. 

Mt. Fuji: Top of the mountain. There are shacks for food and rest. 

Yokohama:    X Japan concert!!!

Tokyo Tower: I will be headed up to the observation deck about half way up. 
Tokyo Tower: Looking through a window in the floor from half -way up. 

Tokyo: This cicada decided to fly into my arm. Aaron rescued me and it by returning it to the planter beds (under the watchful eye of a nervous old man).

Tokyo: Shibuya and the busiest crosswalk. I think we crossed it about twenty times taking pictures. 

Enoshima: Lovely day at the beach with some of the camp lifeguards. 

Nikko: Eating a tasty treat in the train station.
